Above (L): taking lunch on top of Passo Rolle in the Dolomites, not an especially hard climb but the grandeur and beauty of the scenery make the climb unforgettable.

Above (R): on top of Mont Ventoux in 2007; a legendary climb with a breathtaking descent.

Above (L): at the end of the 2009 Gran Fondo Pinarello; a fantastic, classy event full of bling bikes. The event in this year was run through the Prosecco hills and over the incredible Passo San Boldo (180 degree switchbacks in tunnels), they even through in some strade bianchi for fun.

Above (R): at the Duo Normand, a unique end of season 2up TT in Northern France where you ride on the same course as the pro's so you get the start ramp and grand stand finish. Brilliant fun and probably the best TT in the world.

Above (R): climbing Passo Duran in the Dolomites, 10% for 10km isn't easy for us 90kg'ers.
